Question 1: Flexion of Humeri

Can we flex our humeri?

Laying on your back with your knees bent, take both hands into supination.

While keeping the elbows straight take both arms overhead as much as possible.

We are concerned with the motion at the glenohumeral joint, therefore, if the spine’s curvatures increase to allow for more motion, we consider this false motion.

Arms should be able to continue overhead until biceps are parallel to the ears ~ 150
